Michigan Re-opens and Beer Tastings back in Full Swing!

The Michigan we all know and love is a hustle and bustle of color, light, and life. Before Coronavirus hit the United States, Michigan was a State that never slept. How could it, when its culture has always been so vibrant?

While definitely creating a dent in this State’s spirit, the ongoing pandemic has not succeeded in breaking it, and Michigan with all the fight still left in its soul is making a winner’s comeback along with its community-building, thoroughly enjoyable, and fondly missed beer tasting experiences!

Here at Coastal Tours, we have observed that an activity as simple as beer tasting can be a powerful pillar in the fostering of new relationships as it brings together people with a shared passion for all things beer.

To understand the true joy that accompanies an episode of beer tasting, you must focus not only on the drinking, but also on the stories discussed around the tasting table, the bursts of laughter accompanying these stories, and the ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ of beer tasters that build a brewery’s confidence in its ability to brew magic!

So, what should you do if you are a brewer or lover of beer and you wish to continue making and drinking beer in these uncertain times?

Well, for starters, the adoption of safety protocols such as wearing masks, maintaining physical distance from other people, and regular hand washing are crucial practices that may reduce the risk of virus transmission.

Additionally, if you are a member of a brewery, you can seek guidance from the Brewers Association Covid-19 guide.

Beer tasting in Michigan during Covid-19 can be challenging in the current circumstances. But it can also be a remarkable experience and we encourage everyone to try it out. While you prepare yourself to venture out armed with your masks and gloves, you can check out some wonderful breweries we collaborate with and put them on your list of places to visit!

Cheers and don't drink & drive,

Coastal Tours
